Sorry for not posting for a few weeks but the Daily grind started up with a roar and I had Shack guests staying with us for about a week and had to play Host.
Regular life once again gets in the way of Game creation. boo! boo!
Although I did enjoy having guests, it's rare for people to travel up the mountain and find there way to the shack.
U.F.F. Update
Dec. was one of the best months for progress in the Game. The shop system has been system has been cemented. The shops will be controlled by 3 A.I. units. (that we could look at as vending machines).
Introducing:
Mr. Item, Mr. Weapon, and Mr.Earth
Side notes:
-All items and customized icons for food/health, armor, weapons, etc. are more than half complete.
-After items are at 100 percent will begin to tackle common enemies and background battle designs.
-Still need to look at using stock rpgace battle animations/sounds or customize at least some.
-Then it will be on to boss battles and programming.
-Music creation has begun for the world! Main goal: establish at least 8 original tracks for the game.
The Game creating process has had more than it's share of ups and downs, with that said I will shoot for a release of the game by the end of the year!
Let's keep optimistic.
